Lockdowns created a mental health pandemic. If Doug Ford’s “first priority was the health and safety of all Ontarians”, he would #LiftTheLockdown. Instead his first priority is re-election. The “experts” Doug is listening to are pollsters.
We are fighting back
The Lockdown continues but there is a major change in momentum in our favour. As Doug Ford continues his Lockdown rampage, more and more voices are coming out against the Lockdown and yours should be one of them. Now is the time to apply maximum pressure on the Government by calling your Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP). MPPs don’t like to hear that constituents are suffering. They may relay that to the Government or become afraid to lose their seat. A large volume of calls will be very effective.
No More Fear Of Covid Bullies
PC Government House Leader, Paul Calandra, denied movement of my Bill to cut MPPs pay to the amount of the CERB until the Emergency Orders are lifted. We are NOT all in this together. He then passed a motion to cut my pay instead. The Speaker ruled Calandra’s motion invalid later in the day.
The most devastating consequence of the Lockdown is the impact on Ontario’s children and their mental health.
